“Man, I wasn’t gonna try it… I got my grandma’s recipe.” 😅
Respectfully… you still gotta try the gumbo.
And when he hit me with:
“That’s it. You got it.”
Yeah… that one meant something ❤️🔥
Food brings out honesty. No filters, no fluff.
Would your grandma approve? 👀🍲

“Just tell us to buckle up.” 🍜🔥
That was the reaction the moment the lobster noodles hit the table.
From the first bite, it’s not just a dish—it’s an experience. Rich, bold flavors. Fresh lobster. Noodles that hit different.
At Blai Thai, we don’t just serve food… we serve moments you’ll talk about on the way home.
Come hungry. Leave impressed.

“I never wanted to bake.”
Because baking is a science. No shortcuts. No “try a little of this, try a little of that” like cooking or even music. It’s precise. Measured. Unforgiving.
He grew up helping his grandmother in the kitchen, but more like a runner. “Bring me this, bring me that.” Never the one actually baking.
From not wanting to bake… to serving it. 🔥

Chef Kay always jokes about something.
Ping pong tournament? Number two.
College honors? Second honors.
Singing contest as a kid? Also number two.
“Maybe one day I’ll get number one… with food.”
Today, Chef Kay pours that same humility and passion into every dish at Blai Thai Organic. Authentic Thai flavors, organic ingredients, and recipes rooted in tradition.
We may not chase trophies.
We just focus on making food that makes people happy.
Come taste Chef Kay’s story. 🌿🍜

Today’s debate at Blai Thai:
Does chapstick fix bad breath?
The jury is still arguing.

People really flew in just to eat here. ✈️🍜
One couple came from the Bay Area. Another drove in from San Diego. When we asked if they were visiting family, they said, “No… we came to see you.”
They saw us on Instagram and TikTok and decided they had to try it for themselves. Thai food is their favorite, and after seeing the videos, they booked the trip.
Moments like this are why we stay open, even on holidays. The support, the love, and the people traveling across California just to sit at our table means everything.
Social media didn’t just help us grow.
It helped people find us from under the rocks we used to hide under.
If you’ve seen us online and haven’t visited yet… what are you waiting for? 😉
