Hello Palermo customers and fans — Tony’s daughter, Michelle, here.
I’m writing with a family update. As many of you know, my dad passed away recently, and our family is taking some additional time to grieve and be together.
My dad had originally planned to reopen Palermo on August 12 after our annual vacation. Given everything our family is going through right now, we have decided to extend our vacation a little longer.
We appreciate your patience, understanding, and kindness as we navigate this difficult time. We’ll keep you posted when we have more information about reopening.
Thank you to everyone who has reached out, sent messages, shared memories of my dad, or simply kept our family in your thoughts and prayers. It has meant more to us than you know. ❤️

Hello,
Our family has been overwhelmed by all of the cards and flowers we have received at the restaurant. My dad was a very special person.
In lieu of sending additional flowers to Palermo, please consider making a donation in Tony’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Shriners Children’s, or Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
Every time one of their commercials came on, Tony would quietly say, “Poor little kids.” His heart always broke for children who were suffering. We know he would be honored if his memory could help bring hope and healing to them and their families.
Thank you for helping us honor his generous heart. ❤️
