The best part of brunch isn’t just what’s on the table — it’s the people who gather around it.
We asked our team and one of our favorite regulars, Julian (brunch’s unofficial mayor), to share the dishes they keep coming back to.
Join us this weekend for a long lunch, good company, and maybe a new favorite of your own.

Proof of Concept, Part 2: follow the money back to a person.
In this installment, Max Reis Maxwell Reis, Beverage Director for Mírate and Daisy, talks about what it means to build lasting relationships directly with producers, and why knowing exactly where your dollars go is still rare in this industry.
When the money becomes traceable, the relationship becomes real, and the impact lands with the people actually making the liquid.
That kind of transparency shouldn’t be the exception. Here, it’s the whole point.
Part 2 of the series. More to come.

Dulce, amargo, floral.
Spiced chocolate ganache meets café de olla crème anglaise, while jamaica-poached chayote cuts through the richness with quiet acidity.
Porque dessert should leave you wanting one more bite.

Our new dinner menu is now available.
Each dish reflects an ongoing exploration of Mexico's culinary landscape—not as something fixed, but as something living, regional, and constantly unfolding.
Enmoladas de Pato layers duck carnitas, blackberry mole, blue corn tortillas, and queso fresco into a dish that feels at once familiar and entirely its own.
We look forward to welcoming you to the table.

Technique is flavor.
EL TAQUERO #2 begins with Mal Bien x Mírate Espadín, which we fat-wash with asiento—the deeply seasoned drippings collected from our cochinita pibil—and toasted tortillas. During the infusion, the spirit absorbs fat-soluble aromatic compounds from the rendered pork, achiote, spices, and toasted corn. Once the fat solidifies and is removed, leaving the mezcal clear but carrying the texture, aroma, and savory complexity of the ingredients behind.
From there, we layer in pineapple, al pastor honey, Oaxacan pineapple brandy, Alma Tepec, fresh lemon, and a finishing touch of cilantro avocado oil. Each ingredient is chosen to echo the flavors you'd find at a taquero—charred pineapple, citrus, herbs, warm corn, and slow-cooked pork—without ever becoming literal.
It's not meant to taste like a taco. It's an exploration of how technique can preserve a memory, translating the aromas and atmosphere of the taquero into a glass.

Some drinks are made for moments.
Some moments are made after the first drink.
Girls’ night. Big news. Bad dates. Good gossip. Tuesdays that somehow turned into Thursdays.
Taking care of all kinds of cocktail occasions, every single night.

Mirate, located on North Vermont Avenue in Los Angeles, is a restaurant that offers a unique and delightful dining experience. From the team behind Mirame, this establishment boasts two bar spaces, including a dedicated mezcaleria, which adds to its charm.
One of the standout features of Mirate is its convenient location. Situated just far enough from the 101 freeway, it provides a sense of being on a mini-vacation without the worry of getting lost. This makes it an ideal spot for both locals and tourists alike.
The restaurant has garnered attention on social media for its seasonal offerings. One such highlight is their El Pancho Claus cocktail, also known as rompope or eggnog. This delightful concoction combines traditional eggnog ingredients with Mexican flair, such as mushroom-infused Charanda and high-proof agricole-style rum from Oaxaca. The addition of raicilla from Jalisco and housemade pasita raisin liqueur from Puebla further elevates this festive drink.
