Greetings Parsonage...

Some housekeeping before the weekend...

We are currently full for reservations on Friday (thanks everybody!). Still haveca couple spots open for Sarurday.
Keep checking back if you want Friday and we will release any tables as cancelations come.

Please make reservations (on yelp) if you're coming in. It is REALLY helpful to know so that we can do our best to not run out of anything.

We'll see you this weekend (or next or whenever you're free).

Oh yeah...do something nice for someone. It's what Dolly would have wanted.

Greetings Parsonage...

We have a couple more weeks before we start bringing in some menu changes. We think this current menu is one of our best.

We have a few more weeks until we need to handle some catering in October (and will be closed for a few weekends).

So grab some friends. Round up the family. Come join us for dinner.

See ya soon!

Greetings Parsonage...

Lots of new followers so thought we'd maybe introduce ourselves and preemptively answer a couple of common questions.

"What? I live in Pasadena and have never even known you were there". Henry Parsons Project is a funky little spot in pasadena that exists in a gigantic former Mexican chain restaurant (Margarita Jones if you're keeping score). The team here also runs a catering outfit (Little Lily's Kitchen) that keeps us pretty busy. The restaurant came to be as a result of covid shutting down all of our wedding catering...it became a lityle covid popup spot and we just never stopped doing it.

Why do I tell you this? Because it leads to question number 2 "why is your schedule so weird?"
Given our catering schedule and the desire to maintain sanity, the restaurant is only open weekends we aren't catering. So that means in the busy times of year there are often runs of weeks we aren't open. Best way to know is to check here for dates or check availability on yelp reservations.

Finally, it's been a little while since we told you how much we appreciate all of you. It is so wildly humbling to meet all of you and share even a moment of joy. Those moments are the things that sustain.

Hope to see you soon.

Reservations on yelp or at our website.

Greetings Parsonage...

I know, I know...it's not a food pic but hey, the visuals of life are beautiful in their variety.

We are open for the next few weeks. Summer vibes. Fried chicken. Berries. Watermelon granita. Ribs. Corn. Tomatoes. Even some old school jazz fest crawfish bread.

We have a new tomato and XO pasta that is pretty great.

Just wanted to let y'alls know what is here.

Hope to see you soon.

Greeting Parsonage...

So, lets talk a little chicken...

Apparently y'all love fried chicken. We made a bunch and still ran out. So we will make more. If you know you want chicken, maybe a good idea to put a note in the reservation.

Pork ribs? Also ran out. Also making more. Also maybe a good idea to put in reservation note.

This will be the last weekend for the ramp/morel pasta.

We'll see you this weekend (then a couple weekends off, then a big run of project weekends over the summer).

PS- if you didn't know, we're real good at your larger parties. 6,8,10, no problem. Come on in. We're kind of built for that.

Greetings Parsonage...

I talked about chicken. I talked about R&D. I talked about pictures.

Here is a picture from our R&D sessions working on chicken. I believe we're making good progress.

Come in. Drink wine. Eat chicken (also steak, shrimp & grits, ramp and fresh morel linguini...you know, normal stuff).

See you in a couple few days.

Greetings Parsonage...

Have we told you lately that we miss you? Well, we do.

June 5,6,12, and 13 we are going to get our early summer vibes on. Like, cherries and berries and morels and chicken and something called "Denver steak". Potato salad and corn and a bunch of other stuff to make you happy. After all, that's all we really want, for you to be happy.

Reservations on yelp.

We'll see you in a few days.

Oh, I'll try and post some R&D pics as they come.
