When our owner, Ron Salisbury, was asked to nominate an employee for Orange County Business Journal’s “Indispensable” feature, there was no question who he would choose! He nominated our Events Manager, Jason Noble, and shared these incredibly kind words about why he is such an invaluable part of our team:
“The Cannery/Louie’s By The Bay is compelled to nominate Jason Noble as an “Indispensable” for our family group of 10 restaurants. Needless to say, this was very difficult in only choosing one individual as there are possibly five to six who would fit that very unique category. Having said that, Jason qualifies for this recognition as he in effect directly impacts a minimum of three of our restaurants and indirectly the other seven with what he brings to our organization.
Jason’s title (and we try to shy away from titles as we work to foster the approach that everyone, at all times is directly responsible for any action that makes us better as an organization) is director of special events primarily at The Cannery and Louie’s By The Bay. Jason’s passion, wisdom, and raw ability that in the past few years vastly exceeded my expectation when the position was first created.
Simply put, the impact of one person on the financial impact as well as the additional human element has been something to deeply appreciate and respect. He is a rare gem in his every day presence. He is that rarity of someone you dream of finding, but in reality, don’t believe you ever will. But don’t anyone try to hire him. Personally, being so wise that we have done everything possible to bond him to us!“

We were honored to be part of “A Taste of Hawaii” 🌺 an incredible evening hosted by Kurt Suzuki that brought together talented chefs, athletes, and our local community for a meaningful cause.
This special event supports the Kurt Suzuki Family Foundation & Angels Baseball Foundation. Proceeds from these events benefit families impacted by natural disasters, children battling cancer, and youth baseball programs that provide opportunities for kids regardless of financial circumstances. ⭐️⭐️
Giving back has always been an important part of who we are and we’re grateful for every opportunity to use great food to make a positive impact! Thank you to everyone who made this unforgettable evening possible. We’re incredibly proud to be part of such a generous and compassionate community 🌺🍴 📸: Cole McCrea

The dessert everyone’s talking about has officially landed at The Cannery 🍰🍴
With its beautifully caramelized top and impossibly creamy center, Basque Cheesecake has earned a cult following for good reason. It’s intentionally “burnt,” delightfully rustic, and absolutely unforgettable.
One bite, and you’ll see what all the hype is about! Available now on our dessert menu 🤤

When we asked Craig what The Cannery means to him, his answer said it all:
“It’s a family I never knew I needed.” 🥹
The truth is, we feel the same way about him.
While Craig may be one of our newest team members, it already feels like he’s been part of The Cannery family for years. Whether he’s welcoming guests with genuine warmth at the front desk or keeping the energy flowing upstairs in the Jellyfish Lounge, he’s the kind of teammate everyone can count on! Our servers know that when Craig is hosting, busy nights run a little smoother, and our guests know they’re in good hands from the moment they arrive.
Hospitality is about making people feel like they belong and Craig does exactly that for both our guests and our team.
We’re grateful to have him as part of our tight-knit Cannery family, and we can’t wait to see how he continues to shine! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
