Darren's Restaurant, a popular neighborhood retreat located in the heart of downtown Manhattan Beach, was known for its globally-inspired new American cuisine. Owned by notable chef Darren Weiss, the restaurant showcased his unparalleled classical technique and reflected his extensive culinary journey. With Mediterranean- and Pacific Rim-influenced dishes, the menu offered a refined-yet-welcoming beachside dining experience. Darren's reputation soared over the years due to its award-winning cuisine, approachable staff, and an enticing selection of craft cocktails and world-class wines. Unfortunately, Darren's has been permanently closed. Please note that Chef Darren is now at Chelsea Pub and Lounge in Hermosa Beach.
