2021 brought the loss of probably the 2 kindest and most quick-witted ppl in Hollywood: Betty White and our own dear friend and Franklin village neighbor, Michael Tyler(aka Friends' Gunter). We also lost Nelson Mandela. So raise a glass to Michael Tyler. He is in great company, in memorium, and deserves to be.
Zagat awards us for nightlife annually. We maintain an "A" rating from the LA Health Department. Nearly everything on our menu is made daily from scratch. Gluten sensitive menu available on request. Ours was a nicer, kinder, more generous, wittier, more warm-hearted & BETTER 'village' & world with Michael in it. He literally never met a stranger. And he met and married his perfect match in Jen who shares all of the same attributes. No matter what was going any given hour of any given day, when Michael walked in the room, it felt like all was ok with the world outside. R.I.P. Michael. #1 authentic good guy...even when he wasn't Amish!

Yes! It’s time! We’re open tomorrow for dine-in/patio service! Masks are mandatory and reservations highly suggested (for the patio too!) so we can properly socially distance. Our seating is limited, so we are unable to take large parties at the moment. The bar isn’t open QUITE yet and alcohol can be sold only with purchase of a meal per the new guidelines.

To get to Franklin Avenue in Los Angeles by public transport, you can take the Metro Red Line and get off at the Hollywood/Western station. From there, you can walk along Hollywood Blvd heading west for several blocks until you reach Franklin Avenue.
