Our Golden Hour artwork was designed by RYMIE, a Bay Area–based muralist and illustrator. She designed our award-winning seasonal bag in Spring 2023, and now she’s brought the warmth and energy of Golden Hour to this year’s collection.

Through our Cup For A Cause program, we give back to both local and global communities.
$1 from every pour over coffee purchased at our cafes is donated directly to a nonprofit organization that was nominated by an Equator employee. In 2025, this program raised a total of $14,484, all of which was donated to a variety of impactful organizations doing critical work within their communities.

Ten years ago, Helen and Brooke made history when Equator became the first certified LGBTQ-owned business to receive the National Small Business of the Year Award. Looking back on that milestone, they reflect on what it meant then and how it continues to define Equator today.

1. From downtown Los Angeles, take the Metro Red Line towards North Hollywood.
2. Get off at the Hollywood/Highland Station and transfer to the Metro Bus 217 heading westbound.
3. Ride the bus for approximately 20 minutes and get off at the Fairfax / Melrose stop.
4. Walk north on Fairfax Avenue for about 5 minutes until you reach your destination.
Driving/Parking:
1. If coming from downtown Los Angeles, take the US-101 N freeway.
2. Continue on US-101 N until you reach exit 8A for Melrose Avenue.
3. Take the exit and turn right onto Melrose Avenue.
4. Drive west on Melrose Avenue for about 1 mile until you reach Fairfax Avenue.
5. Turn left onto Fairfax Avenue and continue driving for another half a mile.
6. Look for available street parking or use nearby paid parking lots/garages in the area.
