Vanilla Sea Salt Caramel! A labor of love! First we caramelize organic sugar, let it harden, break it into shards and pulverize it to a powder! Next we mix it with Strauss organic milk, cream, Madagascar vanilla beans and Maldon sea salt flakes. Finally we pasteurize our recipe then freeze it, place it in a blast freezer to keep away those nasty ice crystals. The end result? Something caramely sweet and slightly salty! Your taste buds will thank you!

It’s time to take off on this gelato wave! Hokey Pokey is back! An organic vanilla bean gelato with shards of house made honeycomb toffee). We also have a delightfully summery orange and pistachio (organic orange and vanilla bean gelato with crushed California pistachios)! 🤘🍀🐶🍨

Double Espresso Cake. An espresso gelato (made with ELEVATOR COFFEE counterweight blend), with chunks of chocolate espresso cake that we made with valrhona dark chocolate and elevator espresso, valrhona dark chocolate shards and dollops of Maldon sea salt whipped cream. This creation was the result of some mad brainstorming of Marina! Make sure you thank her for a dreamy flavor!

For all the chocoholics out there,we’ve got you covered! We created something new and decadent…chocolate cheesecake gelato. We blended together some Strauss milk, Valrhona 70% dark chocolate and Philadelphia cream cheese to create a delectable gelato but didn’t stop there. We then added toasted, buttery Oreo crumbs, melted valrhona dark chocolate and dollops of chocolate whipped cream. 🍀🐶🍨

For those taking public transportation, Lucky Dog Gelato can be reached via the San Clemente Metrolink Station. From there, take the OCTA bus line 193 and get off at the El Camino Real and Avenida Granada stop. Walk south on El Camino Real for one block to reach the gelateria.
For those driving, Lucky Dog Gelato is located on South El Camino Real in San Clemente. Take Interstate 5 and exit at Avenida Palizada. Turn left onto Avenida Palizada and then right onto South El Camino Real. There is street parking available in the surrounding area.
