In a galaxy far, far away….ok, maybe just down the street! We are celebrating May 4th this weekend with some out of this galaxy flavors.
Chewbanana Cream Pie: a vanilla bean gelato with our own caramelized banana puree and house-made vanilla wafers.
Yoda’s Matcha Wisdom: a matcha gelato with valrhona white chocolate Stracciatella.
Java The Hut: espresso gelato, espresso caramel swirl and house-made dark chocolate brownies.
The Brûlée Strikes Back: a vanilla bean custard gelato with shards of caramelized sugar.

What’s the craic? Gelato is! We are all ready for St Patrick’s day! New limited St. Pats flavors:
Irish Coffee: a non-alcoholic Irish cream meets espresso and valrhona chocolate in this dreamy creamy delight!
Irish Brown Bread: a dark muscavado, vanilla bean, and cream cheese gelato with buttery cinnamon dusted brown bread.
Browned Butter Shortbread: browned butter vanilla bean with toasted house made browned butter shortbread. Can you tell we love browned butter?

Feeling nutty and need a jolt? We’ve got you covered…Espresso Macadamia Nut Crunch! We pulled a bunch of Counterweight Espresso and made a creamy gelato, then swirled in our house-made big island Macadamia Nut praline. Pure Decadence!!! 🍀🐶🍨

Happy Valentine’s Day to everyone!
We specially made heart shaped gelato pops to celebrate love! We have a Rocky Road heart. A valrhona milk chocolate heart with house made marshmallows, chopped pistachios and a dark chocolate coating. Our other heart is a valrhona milk chocolate gelato covered in dark chocolate.
We have also have some favorites back in the case today including Bastani, Strawberry Cheesecake, Vanilla Lavender & Hazelnut.

We have passed through the seven levels of the candy cane forest, through the sea of swirly twirly gum drops and then scrambled through the carnage of Nakatomi Tower to bring you these Elf and Die Hard inspired flavors.
Buddy the Elf lives by the mantra”the best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear”. To help you with that singing we want to sweeten your taste buds with:
Buddy’s Breakfast Gelato: a maple syrup gelato with peppermint bark, marshmallows and dark chocolate flakes.
Buddy’s Worlds Best Cup of Coffee: espresso gelato with crushed dark chocolate covered espresso beans and a dulce de leche swirl.
We also wanted to help you finally solve that never ending debate that Die Hard is a Christmas movie by tempting you with some John McClane inspired flavors.
Yippe-ki-Yay Caramel Crunch: Vanilla Sea Salt Caramel gelato with chocolate covered honey comb toffee and crushed almonds.

Browned Butter Honey!
A gelato reminiscent of growing up and having honey on buttered toast. For this we browned up some organic European-style butter and paired it with Amber Woodland Honey which has beautiful citrusy and floral tasting notes.

Can’t decide between a Pavlova or a Gelato for dessert? How ‘bout a Pavlova gelato? We baked up our own pavlova, broke it up into pieces and mixed it into a vanilla bean gelato along with our house-made passion fruit and raspberry coulis. It’s sunshine in a cup! 🍀🐶🍨

For those taking public transportation, Lucky Dog Gelato can be reached via the San Clemente Metrolink Station. From there, take the OCTA bus line 193 and get off at the El Camino Real and Avenida Granada stop. Walk south on El Camino Real for one block to reach the gelateria.
For those driving, Lucky Dog Gelato is located on South El Camino Real in San Clemente. Take Interstate 5 and exit at Avenida Palizada. Turn left onto Avenida Palizada and then right onto South El Camino Real. There is street parking available in the surrounding area.
