Hey there! It’s been a while since we’ve posted on Facebook. In case you didn’t see our announcement on Instagram last week, we wanted to let you know that the time has come for us to soon say goodbye.
To our amazing customers: Thank you for your loyalty, smiles, and the unwavering support that you've shown us over the years. We were so lucky to have been a part of such a wonderful neighborhood. We are endlessly grateful for every pint shared, every kind word spoken, and every moment spent within these walls. Thank you for supporting our dream and allowing us to be part of your weekly routines and family traditions.
This decision has not been made lightly. What we built together over the last 12 years was more than just about food-it was a place of connection, conversation, celebration, and community. You are the ones who made this space so special and brought it to life and we are deeply grateful to have been a part of your lives. Getting to know you... hearing about your families, your events... Those conversations are what I will miss the most about MRK Public.
We don't have an exact closing date yet but it will most likely be in mid May. We'll be sharing more details on our closing schedule soon, but for now, let's savor these final weeks together.
“Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened." Come celebrate what we built together. Come say goodbye. Come let us thank you in person for being part of this journey. MRK Public existed because of you. And that will always mean everything to us.

MRK will be closed tonight due to:
- Kitchen staff shortage
- Extreme exhaustion
- And we want to spend a little bit of
time with our crazy boys before their
Spring Break is over.
As always, thank you for being so supportive and understanding through these hard times. On a side note: we will also be closed next Thursday (4/14) to celebrate our twins birthday.

First we want to start by saying thank you to all of our wonderful customers who have been so understanding and patient with us throughout the pandemic (and every other time in the past that we’ve had issues). We love all of you SO MUCH!! With that being said, we have decided that it would be best to close tonight. Last night we were very busy (which is so appreciated and would usually be a great thing) but it wasn’t conducive to try to serve you all with only two people working in the kitchen. We are trying as hard as we can to restaff our kitchen but at this point, we are down to just one man, which makes it impossible for us to operate tonight, as much as we would love to serve you the great food and beer you all love. It is not lost on us how annoying this will be for many of you who were planning to come in this evening for dinner and drinks... Trust us, this is not our ideal situation but again we appreciate how well you all continue to roll with the punches. We will be back on Tuesday 2/22/22 (normal hours)
Sorry for the longest post ever, we just want to be as transparent as possible with you guys. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts ♥️
