Gibroni's Pizza is an Italian restaurant and food delivery service located on South El Camino Real. Specializing in Detroit-style pizza made by Detroit natives, their unique style includes slightly thick focaccia-like dough with sauce on top, cheese all the way to the edge of the buttery crust, crispy edges and bottom, soft middle, and square slices. The magic is in the pans they use to cook it in. The restaurant started as a home business during the pandemic and has now expanded to operate out of JD's kitchen in downtown San Clemente.
