Just minutes before landing on the Lisbon International Airport. I snapped a few frames from my window seat around 8:15 am. The Lisbon airport is probably not your best airport in the world in terms of modernity and efficiency. Our very own NAIA in Manila would beat it on all counts. If you are stopping by or going through this airport, it is best to have your cellphones and mobiles fully charged, and that you have enough time dealing with the airport and management people. Going through Customs and Im@gyration is repetitive and sometimes incompetent or both. And I will ditch Air Portugal Airlines for other carriers.

Justine and I favored the McDonald’s in King’s Cross, not only for convenience but, more importantly, because we are carefully marshaling our limited financial resource. We had lunch here twice, and the chicken strips combo was always our choice. Very attentive and courteous service everyone. Alternatively, if you are driving, take the 5 Freeway and exit at Western Avenue. Turn left onto Western Avenue and then turn right onto San Fernando Road. Continue on San Fernando Road until you reach Paula Avenue. There is street parking available on Paula Avenue and nearby streets.
