Heather’s journey in coffee has been filled with groundbreaking achievements. In 2003, she became the first woman to win the U.S. Barista Championship, and in 2007, she represented the U.S. at the World Barista Championship in Japan. While she placed 2nd overall, her espresso earned the competition’s first-ever Best Espresso award, inspiring what would become Klatch’s iconic WBC World’s Best Espresso.

- If you’re coming from elsewhere in LA County: Use Metro to reach a nearby Redondo Beach stop, then transfer to a local bus for the final stretch along S. Pacific Coast Highway.
By driving
- From I-405: Take the exit toward CA-1 / Pacific Coast Highway and continue south into Redondo Beach.
- Follow signs for S. Pacific Coast Highway and look for street parking near the shop; many spots are metered or time-limited.
Parking tips
- Use nearby metered street parking along S. Pacific Coast Highway and adjacent side streets.
- Check posted time limits and payment requirements before leaving your car.
- If street parking is tight, consider parking in nearby lots/garages off PCH and walking a few blocks back to the boulevard.
