What people say
El Torito, located in Fisherman’s Wharf, Redondo Beach, has received mixed reviews from various newspapers. A recent review in the Redondo Beach Patch praised the restaurant’s outdoor patio and lively atmosphere but criticized the food as being “nothing special.” This review was published in July 2021.
Another review from The Daily Breeze gave El Torito a more positive review, praising its extensive menu and friendly service. This review was published in June 2021.
Additionally, customers have left their own reviews online. One customer on Yelp mentioned that they had a great experience at El Torito and loved the margaritas. Another customer on Google Reviews praised the restaurant for being family-friendly and accommodating to large groups.
However, not all customer reviews were glowing. Some complained about slow service or subpar food quality. For example, one customer on TripAdvisor said that while they enjoyed the atmosphere, their meal was “underwhelming.”
Overall, it seems that El Torito has both its strengths and weaknesses. While some patrons enjoy the restaurant's lively atmosphere and friendly staff, others are disappointed with certain aspects of their experience.
