Our Project Barley family is coming together to support our chef, José, and his family after the heartbreaking loss of his son.

José is an important part of our family here at Project Barley, and during an unimaginable time like this, we want to do everything we can to surround him and his loved ones with support.

We’ve set up a fundraiser to help ease some of the financial burden on the family and give them the time and space they need to grieve.

If you’re able to contribute, the Venmo donation link is in our bio. We’ll also have flyers with a QR code available at the bar for anyone who would like to donate in person.

Every donation, no matter the amount, means something. If you aren’t able to donate, sharing this post is another meaningful way to help.

**Travel Directions to International Boardwalk, Redondo Beach**

**By Public Transport:**
1. **Metro Rail:** Take the Metro C Line (Green) towards Crenshaw. Transfer at the Aviation/Century station to the Metro 109 or 212 bus.
2. **Bus:** Board the 109 or 212 bus heading towards Redondo Beach. Get off at the stop closest to International Boardwalk.
3. **Walk:** From the bus stop, it’s a short walk to reach your destination along the boardwalk.

**By Car:**
1. **From Los Angeles:** Take I-405 S and merge onto CA-1 S (Pacific Coast Highway). Follow CA-1 S until you reach Redondo Beach.
2. **Parking:** Look for public parking lots available near International Boardwalk, as well as street parking options in the area.
