Huge thank you to Juan from Clean LA and Ivan from ETA411 .eta411 who—together with Brown Owl Café joined by came together to organize an incredible community clean-up along Ford Blvd & E. Cesar E. Chavez Ave.
Their dedication and teamwork led to a beautiful transformation of the area where our restaurant is located, reminding us how powerful it is when neighbors unite with purpose 🤍

East Los Pantry: A New Home for Community, Clients, and Careers
Back in March, we made the decision to open our doors to the former employees of the original Pantry House—individuals who were abruptly left without employment through no fault of their own. At the same time, we also welcomed the loyal clients who had long supported that establishment.
East Los Pantry was created to step in and provide a new home.
With the overwhelming support of our community, we have been able to grow and build something meaningful. Today, East Los Pantry proudly sustains 14 new job positions—jobs that directly support 14 families with their day-to-day expenses, stability, and future.
Our story is about more than just food—it is about second chances, community strength, and creating opportunity where it was most needed.
As we continue on this journey, we remain deeply grateful for every customer who has walked through our doors, old and new alike. Your support has made this possible. With your continued loyalty, we will not only safeguard the jobs we’ve created but also open the door to even more opportunities for our neighbors, friends, and families.
Together, we are building more than a pantry—we’re building a community.
