Maria’s Italian Kitchen is a celebrated establishment known for its authentic Italian cuisine and warm, inviting atmosphere. The restaurant traces its roots back to the Italian quarter of Hoboken, New Jersey, where Maria learned the culinary traditions of Naples from her mother, Luisa. In 1968, Maria and her family relocated to Los Angeles, where they transformed a small grocery store into the first Maria’s Italian Kitchen in Brentwood Village. This original location quickly became popular for its delicious dishes. Following in her mother's footsteps, Maria's daughter, Madelyn Alfano, opened the first table-service restaurant in Sherman Oaks in 1985 and has since expanded the brand to multiple locations while ensuring each one maintains high standards in service and ingredient quality.
