Excited to announce two new specials joining our June Wednesday Tucci Night lineup 🇮🇹✨
🍗 Pollo al B***o
A classic Florentine dish—cast iron roasted chicken bathed in rich European-style butter, inspired by the legendary Trattoria Sostanza in Florence.
🦆 Braised Duck with Butternut Squash Gnocchi
Inspired by Tucci’s Venice episode—slow roasted duck braised with onions, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves & a touch of honey. Rich, warm, and unforgettable.
We can’t wait for our Italophiles to join us.
Ciao!

Join us for Father’s Day Weekend at our Taverns! 🍖🥩
We know Dads love being the “Master of the Backyard Grill,” but this year, treat him to a special meal at one of David Wilhelm’s Taverns. We’ll be featuring some “Manly Man” steaks and baby back rib specials at both locations that are sure to please all the carnivore Dads out there.
Treat him to a nice bourbon, margarita, or better yet, a bottle of Austin Hope Cabernet, then sit back and watch him smile.
Sunday is sure to be a busy day, so make your brunch or dinner reservations early. Want to avoid the crowds? Join us on Saturday instead.
Happy Father’s Day from the Tavern crews!

Ciao Tucci Amici 🍝🇮🇹
I watched Stanley Tucci’s new Tucci in Italy this week and, as expected, it didn’t disappoint. One of the most fascinating dishes featured was “Spaghetti with Runaway Clams” — a humble pasta cooked with sea rocks and algae to create a rich seafood flavor without any actual shellfish. A beautiful example of Italian cucina povera at its most creative.
While you probably won’t see beach rocks in our kitchen anytime soon 😄, you will see lots of exciting new seafood dishes rolling out this summer starting in June.
Last night’s Night in Tuscany was another great one 🇮🇹✨
My version of Pasta alla Nerano continues to reign supreme… and yes, the secret is the squash blossoms added at the very end 🌼
Ciao friends — more delicious things coming soon!
