As our Honeycomb investment opportunity comes to a close, we’re reflecting on the incredible journey of Teofilo Coffee Company. Founded in 2017 with the mission to elevate Filipino coffee, which has been around for 284 years, our adventure started at farmers markets, pop-ups, and catering events, sharing the rich flavors of Filipino coffee directly with our community. If you don’t know what Barako species, its Liberica’s 1st coffee that was cultivated in the in Lipa, Batangas, in the 1740’s coincidentally enough so is the coffee that we source and roast here.

PSA: Philippine coffee is dated since 1740 so we’ve been on the map for 284 years. Also Liberica is 2% world coffee. Arabicas 60%, Robustas 40%, Excelsas 7%. And we we source all 4 species from the local farms of Philippines.
