We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Pet Stylist to join Collar & Comb and The Collar Club — where grooming is treated as both a craft and an elevated hospitality experience.

This is an opportunity for experienced groomers who want to work in a calm, upscale environment with a supportive team, premium clientele, and a company deeply invested in professional growth and long-term career development.

Our luxury, members-focused concept is redefining pet care through private one-on-one grooming, exceptional customer service, and an obsession with quality, safety, and experience.

WHAT WE OFFER

• Established recurring clientele and full schedules
• Top stylists average approximately $45-$55/hr total compensation including hourly pay, tips, bonuses, and incentives
• Paid one-on-one AKC Master Groomer coaching and continuing education
• Private luxury grooming suites with soundproof spa rooms, personal climate controls, Bluetooth audio, and premium equipment
• High-end shampoos & products, smart tables, adjustable dryers, and advanced safety equipment provided
• Designer uniforms and professional
1-on—1 work environment
• Team perks including discounted meals, pet grooming, club membership, café discounts, and partner perks

YOUR ROLE

• Perform high-quality bathing, drying, haircuts, deshedding, styling, brushing, nail care, and color services
• Maintain exceptional handling standards for pets with anxiety, PTSD, geriatric needs, or medical sensitivities
• Build strong client relationships through professionalism, communication, and consistency
• Maintain luxury-level cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards
• Experienced stylists should be comfortable completing 5-7 appointments daily with professional management and concierge support

QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years professional pet grooming experience preferred (exceptional talent considered)
• Cat grooming experience is a plus
• Strong customer service and sales skills
• Compassionate handling style with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced luxury environment
• Must provide personal grooming tools (clippers, blades, shears, combs, dremel, etc.)

Before The Collar Club… before the glowing gates, the coffee, the cocktails, the grooming suites, the events, and the beautiful chaos…

It was just me and Cavalino.

A former service member. A dog with PTSD. And a belief that maybe life could become something greater if we just kept climbing.

This photo was taken years ago on a dusty trail above Los Angeles beneath a handmade sign that said:

LIVE YOUR DREAM.

At the time, it almost felt ironic.

Because dreams are not built through comfort. They are built through sacrifice, uncertainty, exhaustion, risk, resilience, and refusing to quit when nobody else fully understands the vision yet.

Memorial Day has always carried deep meaning for me because of that.

Not only because of my own service — but because Cavalino fought battles too. His anxiety, trauma, and physical challenges ultimately became the reason The Collar Club exists in the first place.

This company was never built just to groom dogs or serve coffee.

It was built to create safe spaces for pets and their people. Spaces centered around compassion, patience, quality, trust, and emotional understanding.

Today when people walk into The Collar Club and see the luxury, the lighting, the design, and the experience — what they’re really seeing is years of grit, survival, love, and belief hidden underneath the surface.

This Memorial Day, I’m grateful for the people and animals who carried me through life’s hardest chapters. 🇺🇸 🐕 ❤️

And grateful that somehow… against all odds… the dream became real.
