It's been a long road... 15 months ago when the Health Order began we lost a big part of the character of what makes Uncle Bill's such a special place- the Counter.

We are very excited to announce that tomorrow, along with 100% indoor capacity, the Counter will once again be available for dinning. Can't wait to see all of you on those ol' bar stools.

Notice!

Mother's Day is around the corner, and we've already had several customers make advance orders via our website (planning ahead!) - however after careful consideration we've decided that because of the extra volume we will not be able to take any to-go orders (via online, phone or walk-up) for that day only.

Our sincerest apologies if that messes up your plans, it was a difficult decision since we want to feed everyone (and their mommas!), but don't let that stop you from coming and dining with us in person!

Looking forward to seeing you all at the beach!

What people say

When it comes to breakfast and brunch restaurants, there's nothing quite like Uncle Bill's Pancake House on Highland Avenue in Manhattan Beach. This iconic eatery has been a staple of the community for over 50 years, serving up delicious breakfast and lunch dishes all day long.

One of the things that sets Uncle Bill's apart from other restaurants is its rich history. The building itself was constructed in 1908 and has served many purposes over the years, including as a flower shop and real estate office. However, it wasn't until Uncle Bill McElroy opened his eponymous restaurant in 1961 that the space truly came to life.

Since then, Uncle Bill's has been owned by the Van Amburgh family, who have continued to uphold the restaurant's legacy of delicious food and friendly service. Whether you're in the mood for classic pancakes or something more savory like eggs benedict or a breakfast burrito, Uncle Bill's has got you covered.

And if you're lucky enough to snag a seat on their outdoor patio, you'll be treated to some of the best people-watching in town. So if you're looking for a cozy spot to enjoy a hearty breakfast or lunch any day of the week, look no further than Uncle Bill's Pancake House on Highland Avenue.
