What people say
Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard is a must-visit for anyone looking for a unique and delicious frozen treat experience. With over 600 shops across 31 states, this popular chain offers a variety of frozen treats that are sure to satisfy any sweet tooth. The famous Italian Ice, made fresh daily, is the star of the show, but the Frozen Custard, Milkshakes, Sundaes, CustardCookie Sandwiches, layered Gelati, as well as signature Misto and Blendini creations are equally impressive.
What sets Rita's apart from other ice cream shops is its commitment to using real fruit in their recipes. This dedication to quality is evident in every bite of their refreshing and delicious treats. And with a locally owned small business model, you can feel good about supporting your community while indulging in something sweet.
The story behind Rita's is just as delightful as their treats. Started by a former Philadelphia firefighter and his mother in 1984 with the modest goal of earning some extra income, Rita's has grown into the largest Italian Ice concept in the nation. But despite its success and expansion, Rita's remains true to its roots - still made fresh every day with real fruit and still just as fun and delicious as it was in the early days.
Overall, if you're looking for a one-of-a-kind frozen treat experience that will leave you feeling happy and satisfied, look no further than Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard on Palms Boulevard in Los Angeles.
