Philly Cheese Steak on Magnolia Boulevard was a family-owned sandwich shop that served great Philly cheese steak. Established in 1980, the restaurant's interior was decorated with vintage collectibles, such as authentic newspaper articles about Elvis Presley, Marilyn Monroe, and James Dean deaths. On May 25th, 2018, after serving North Hollywood for 38 years, Philly Cheese Steak closed its doors to retire permanently.

To get to the location on Magnolia Boulevard in Los Angeles, if you are taking public transportation, you can take either the Metro Bus Line 224 or 152 and get off at the stop near Hollywood Way/Magnolia. From there, it's just a short walk to the restaurant.
If you're driving, the best way is to take the I-5 and exit at Burbank Blvd. Head east on Burbank Blvd until you reach Hollywood Way and turn right. Continue down Hollywood Way until you reach Magnolia Boulevard and turn left. The restaurant will be on your right.
There is street parking available in front of and around the restaurant as well as a small parking lot located behind it. Be sure to read all signs carefully to avoid getting ticketed or towed.
