Today, the entire Darrow’s New Orleans Grill Family joins countless others in celebrating an iconic businessman, visionary, champion, humanitarian, and community builder—Earvin “Magic” Johnson, Jr.
Mr. Johnson, on this special day, we want to do something that is long overdue: publicly say THANK YOU! 🙏🏾❤️
Many people may not know just how deeply your generosity and vision have impacted first-generation family businesses like ours. You didn’t simply talk about creating opportunities—you created them. You opened doors, made introductions, and placed us in spaces and places that, quite honestly, we could never have reached on our own.
Through your vision and the incredible work of the entire Magic Johnson Enterprises family, led by your talented partner Eric Holoman, Darrow’s was given opportunities that changed the trajectory of our journey.
Our products were blessed to be in more than 20 Duty Free Shops throughout the West Coast, as well as Fatburger, Magic Johnson Theatres, Starbucks Coffee, and other incredible venues. And to have Darrow’s featured in your New York Times bestselling book, 32 Ways to Be a Champion in Business, remains one of the proudest moments in our family’s history. 📖🏆
Those opportunities meant so much more than business.
They represented belief.

And most importantly, they demonstrated what happens when someone who has achieved great success reaches back and intentionally helps others climb higher.
