Happy Natal Day to the brilliant Dr. Cornel Ronald West, a fearless truth-teller whose unwavering commitment to justice, compassion, and the dignity of all people has challenged generations to think deeper, love harder, and stand courageously for what is right. Thank you for being a voice of conscience in a world that desperately needs wisdom, humanity, and hope.

And with profound love, I honor the heavenly natal day of my beloved Queen Mother, Lois Clement Clark. Though you are no longer physically with us, your love remains woven into the fabric of our lives. Your strength became our foundation, your wisdom became our compass, and your grace continues to guide us through every season. Not a day passes that your legacy is not felt in the lives you touched and the family you nurtured with unconditional love.

One born to challenge the world to be better. One who taught me how to be better.

Today, I celebrate a scholar whose words inspire nations and a mother whose love shaped generations. May we all strive to leave footprints of purpose, compassion, and service as both of these remarkable souls have done.
