Yesterday marked a truly extraordinary milestone: Inga Diedrich’s 100th birthday.
Martin’s beautiful inside-and-out mother has now spent a full century bringing her strength, creativity, warmth and determination to the people around her. Inga has always been a loving, hardworking woman and an important part of the Diedrich family story and the heritage behind Kéan Coffee.
At 100, we feel incredibly fortunate to celebrate her and this remarkable milestone.
Happy 100th birthday, Inga. What a life, what a milestone, and what a gift to have you here with us. ❤️☕️

Woops... we've been so busy roasting new coffees to put on the table we've forgotten to announce them in Facebook posts! Just added: a beautiful Mexico Gesha Don Rafa and and exceptional Honduras El Cedro. Grab a bag of each in our coffeehouses or order online while you can! As always, our coffees are seasonal and limited in supply.

Merry Christmas! Both coffeehouses will be open until 5 pm today for your last minute coffee or gifting needs, and closed tomorrow on Christmas Day. Back to our regular hours of 6 am to 8 pm on Monday!

Have you ever read the bottom of our beans? Our bags are now, and always have been biodegradable/compostable! Even the tin tie can be repurposed. Because we choose the eco-friendly route, we recommend that you invest in a reusable storage container such as an Airscape (available for purchase in our coffeehouse and online) to transfer your coffee into and keep it at its freshest if you don’t expect to use it up within a short time. You can absolutely store it in the original bag as well, but an airtight container will prolong the coffee’s flavor and you will be much happier, especially if you are a hardcore coffee connoisseur ☕️

To reach the coffee shop at Westcliff Drive in Newport Beach via public transport, you can take the bus to the Dover and Irvine stop. From there, walk northwest on Dover Drive towards Westcliff Drive. Turn right onto Westcliff Drive and continue walking until you reach the coffee shop.
If driving to the location, take Westcliff Drive and park either along the street or in a nearby parking lot.
