Public Transport:
- Take the Metro Red Line to Vermont/Sunset Station.
- From there, transfer to the Metro Bus 201 towards Glendale.
- Get off at the Los Feliz Boulevard/Buena Vista stop.
Driving/Parking:
- From downtown Los Angeles, take the US-101 North and exit at Vermont Ave.
- Turn right onto Vermont Ave.
- Continue straight on Vermont Ave. and turn left onto Franklin Ave.
- Turn right onto Hillhurst Ave. and continue straight until you reach Los Feliz Blvd.

One of their most famous dishes is the Pepper Steak Sub which comes with melted cheese, tomatoes, pickles, and onions. And now it's officially kid-friendly! You can also try it toasted with extra mozzarella for an even more mouth-watering experience. Giamela's also offers unique menu items like the Mrs. G sub which is half pepper steak and half pastrami - named after the owner's mom's favorite sub.
Apart from their amazing food, Giamela's also engages with their customers on social media by hosting giveaways and asking for feedback on new merchandise like their black or red shirts. They even closed down for a day to show appreciation for their hardworking staff who make everything possible.
