uptownazabu

What people say

Recent reviews of Uptownazabu have been positive overall, with most critics praising the quality and freshness of the sushi. In a review from The Philadelphia Inquirer last month, food critic Craig Laban gave the restaurant three stars out of four, describing their sushi as "brightly flavored and beautifully arranged." However, he did note that some of the cooked dishes were less impressive.

A more recent review from Whittier Daily News praised Uptownazabu's premium sushi cuts and recommended trying their signature rolls. The reviewer also noted that the atmosphere was cozy and inviting.

Online customer reviews echo these sentiments. One Yelp user praised Uptownazabu's "perfectly seasoned" sushi and friendly service, stating they would definitely return. Another reviewer on Google raved about the freshness of their sashimi and described it as "melt-in-your-mouth delicious."

However, not all customers have had positive experiences. A few negative reviews cite long wait times for food or unfriendly service. One Yelp user complained about a lack of vegetarian options on the menu.

Overall, Uptownazabu seems to be a well-regarded sushi spot in Whittier with a few areas for improvement in terms of service and menu options.
