THE MOMENT: We opened Republik because we believed in something: that a café could be more than a transaction. It could be a ritual. A refuge. A place where you become a regular on your first visit. This week, over 170 artisans take over San Fernando Boulevard (May 30 & 31), and we're celebrating alongside them—many ways to deepen that belonging: through the books we read together, the craft we learn, the makers we support, and the moments we savor.
THE STORY: Think about the best conversations you've had over coffee. They weren't about caffeine—they were about feeling understood. About finding your people. That's what happens when you come to Republik Reads, when you show up to learn the secrets your barista already knows, when you bite into something that tastes like someone actually cared about you.
