Hubby had to get his wisdom tooth pulled and they gave him a grocery list of items to eat so I saw one of my childhood favorites!!!! So for our soft food profile breakfast choice today is of Wheat and it was a bowl of deliciousness.

Lent It's a 40-day period that begins on Ash Wednesday and ends at sundown on Holy Thursday
The 40 days echo Jesus's time fasting in the desert before beginning his public ministry
Main Purpose:
It's a time of preparation for Easter, which celebrates Jesus's resurrection
Focuses on spiritual reflection, repentance, and renewal
Three Main Practices:
Prayer - Increased focus on spiritual connection
Fasting - Practicing self-discipline and moderation
Almsgiving - Helping others and giving to those in need
Rules and Observances:
Those ages 18-59 are typically required to fast on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday
People 14 and older should abstain from meat on Fridays during Lent
Many people choose to give up certain luxuries or habits during this period Abstaining from meat on Fridays
Choosing simpler meals
Participating in fasting on certain days
So tomorrow being Ash Wednesday those of you who will join. This beginning this Friday no meat ., no alcohol only tequila blanco if needed and no sweets only one item every 2 weeks (no sugar, no juice , soda .......lets choose also exercise minimum twice a week
