Silky Sullivan's Restaurant & Irish Pub Silky Sullivan's Restaurant & Irish Pub is a popular pub and Irish restaurant located in Fountain Valley, California. Offering indoor dining as well as outdoor patio seating at Silky's South Beach, patrons can enjoy Al Fresco dining under the stars. Open daily, founders Dan Madden, Bill Madden and Rob Robertson worked for over a year to remodel the building that formerly housed the Fountain Valley Post Office into this friendly atmosphere that has become one of Orange County's favorites. Dedicated to "Silky Sullivan" (1955-1977), the greatest "come-from-behind" stretch runner in horse racing history, and all competitors in sports and life who have come from behind to finish in the winner's circle. It was the night before Thanksgiving and all through the land. people were coming to Silky’s to hear a great band. Yes it is the night before Thanksgiving and Silky Sullivans was. THE place to be. We had so much fun !!!!!!People getting together from all over the country coming home to visit their families and getting together with their friends. Next year we will definitely be celebrating the night before Thanksgiving at the new Silky Sullivans!!
