We get asked all the time… Why are we called Long Black Coffee?

Our store owner fell in love with Australian-style coffee and wanted to bring that passion to life through a name that celebrates coffee-forward drinks.

What is a Long Black?

A Long Black is an Australian staple made with espresso and hot water. It is similar to an Americano, but with a difference in the water ratio and how it is prepared.

We carefully pour a double shot of espresso over a smaller volume of hot water to preserve the layer of crema on top. By doing so, the drink results in a richer aroma and stronger flavor compared to an Americano!

Try it next time you stop by! Our Long Blacks are offered hot in an 8oz cup and iced in a 12oz cup.

To get to Magnolia Street in Fountain Valley by public transport, take the bus and alight at the Magnolia Street bus stop. From there, walk northwards along Magnolia for about 100 meters until you reach your destination.

If driving, park at the nearby parking lot near Magnolia Street. From there, head south along Magnolia and turn left after two blocks. Continue walking straight ahead for another block until you reach your destination on your right-hand side.
