Campus JAX, located on Campus Drive, offers a unique blend of Cajun and Creole cuisine as well as classic American dishes. They are open nightly from 4pm-8pm Tuesday through Saturday and Friday for lunch at 11:30 am with indoor & outdoor live music events every weekend. Contactless curbside carryout is available by phone or through DoorDash online delivery. Proceeds from the live shows sold will go to benefit JAX Feed The Need community service program. Closed on Mondays.

DAVE MURDY TRIO Live at Campus JAX in Newport Beach, California is a JAXblast Network Production and part of our Steamers Jazz at JAX series hosted by TONY GUERRERO & TERENCE LOVE.

Dave has performed with a wide range of artists, whose genres range from jazz to classical, pop, rock and country. Dave was an original member of the highly successful pop/jazz band, Kilauea. Dave has performed with jazz artists as varied as Art Davis, Brandon Fields, Eric Marienthal, Tony Guerrero, Bobby Shue, Warren Hill, and many others. Dave has also performed with ’60s pop stars Mel Carter and Jackie Deshannon. Currently he also performs with the Frank Sinatra Big Band, Wartime Radio R***e (Big Band), and the hottest cover band in Orange County: The Tijuana Dogs.

Jason Feddy is a talented singer/songwriter from the UK, now based in California. Known for his groovy, acoustic style, Jason has released numerous albums of original songs. He is also the lead singer in two tribute bands: Mad Dogs & The Englishman, a tribute to Joe Cocker, and Wild Night, a Van Morrison show. Additionally, he leads a highly regarded show featuring the songs of William Shakespeare and a review show of iconic 1970s songs, "Listen to the 70s," with singer/songwriter Molly Bergman. Jason is the daily morning host of "Your 2nd Cup with Jason Feddy" on Laguna Beach’s legendary radio station, KXFM. The New York Times praises Jason's “rumpled charm,” and we agree—he’s one of the best singers around!

Drummer Todd Wolf hails from Chicago and has toured and recorded with Chuck Negron (Three Dog Night), Spencer Davis, Slash, Phoebe Snow, Joe Bonamassa, Ernie Watts, Richie Cole, Nancy Sinatra, Robby Krieger, and more.

Perfect Blend is a popular Southern California acoustic duo featuring Loulou and François, celebrated for their fresh take on classic hits from the ’70s and beyond. Blending beautiful harmonies with masterful guitar work, they have become one of the most requested acoustic acts at local venues. With engaging performances, a wide-ranging song list (requests welcome), and an infectious energy, they create an atmosphere that has audiences dreaming, cheering, and dancing along.

Loulou
It’s hard to believe that Loulou began singing live just five years ago, sharing YouTube videos during the pandemic. Today, audiences can’t get enough of her distinctive tone, impressive range, and graceful interpretations of legendary artists from Stevie Nicks to Adele. Paired with her infectious smile and bubbly personality, she has become the standout highlight of Perfect Blend.

François
François is a well-respected local guitarist with years of experience across many of Southern California’s most popular live music and studio projects. As the musical director and storyteller behind Perfect Blend, he transforms timeless classics into a fresh, engaging acoustic journey. His mastery of stomp pedals adds just the right touch of percussion to keep the audience dancing.

BANGERS Live at Campus JAX is a JAXblast Network Production.

BANGERS is a musical shrine to the great British bands of the Sixties and Seventies. The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Kinks, The Hollies, The Moody Blues, Animals, and more. The list that goes on and on.

BANGERS takes us through the British Invasion of the '60s, led of course, by The Beatles. Then came the flood of bands that capitalized on that addictive British Sound! Including the Rolling Stones to Led Zepplin and Jethro Tull.

Each BANGERS set includes a costume change featuring fashion from the '60s through the early seventies. It’s a musical production with a video experience as a backdrop. Fans can’t resist singing and dancing as they relive the heyday of the Legendary British Bands you know and love.

A gifted pianist, vocalist, songwriter, arranger, and producer, Bill Cantos brings a rare blend of jazz sophistication, pop craft, Brazilian warmth, and West Coast studio elegance to the stage. His deep musical résumé includes work with Herb Alpert & Lani Hall, Burt Bacharach, Phil Collins, Sergio Mendes, Elton John, Dori Caymmi, Gal Costa, Kirk Whalum, Deniece Williams, Leon Russell, and many more. His songs have also been recorded by artists including Ramsey Lewis, Lea Salonga, Patti Austin, Brenda Russell, Cheryl Bentyne, and Flora Purim.

Tonight’s performance celebrates the spirit of A&M Records through Bill’s personal lens — revisiting music that helped define an era of sophisticated pop, jazz, Brazilian influence, and timeless studio artistry. To get to the restaurant on Campus Drive in Newport Beach, you can take the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) bus line 79 or 80 and get off at the Campus Drive & Birch Street stop. From there, walk south on Campus Drive for about 5 minutes until you reach the restaurant.

If you prefer driving, take the 405 freeway and exit at Jamboree Road. Head south on Jamboree Road and turn right onto Campus Drive. The restaurant will be on your left-hand side. There is a parking lot available for customers.
