Scopa Italian Roots and Wine director welcomes winemaker .vini , hailing from the pastoral region of Abruzzo, Italy, for a special flight takeover. Chiara will grace our guest with her passionate knowledge in wine making from the Loreto Aprutino vineyards with .

Expect indigenous grape varietals and sense of place that Chiara calls home, Abruzzo.

For 13 years, we’ve been proud to work alongside the incredible team at The Cook’s Garden — a true staple of the Venice community and a place that has inspired generations of local chefs.

This week, we spent the morning in the garden harvesting fresh dandelion greens for our house made creste rigate, bringing a little piece of Venice straight to the table at Scopa Italian Roots.

The connection between local ingredients, local people, and local restaurants is what makes this neighborhood so special. After your Mother’s Day brunch, take a walk down Abbot Kinney and stop by The Cook’s Garden — one of the most beautiful hidden gems in Venice.

To get to Washington Boulevard in Los Angeles, you can take the Metro Expo Line and get off at the La Cienega/Jefferson Station. From there, you can walk east on Jefferson Boulevard until you reach Washington Boulevard.

If you prefer to drive, take the 10 Freeway and exit at La Cienega Boulevard. Head north on La Cienega Boulevard until you reach Washington Boulevard. There is limited street parking available in the area, but valet parking is also offered at certain restaurants along the street.
