When you care deeply about your business, your workday starts long before the doors open. Today we got to work at 5:30 AM even though we don’t open until 11 and we have an amazing team helping prep throughout the day.
It’s not because things were left dirty or undone. It’s because there’s a difference between “clean” and our standard of clean. We come in early to double check, triple check, reorganize, make sure inventory is ready, prep is flowing, and that our team has everything they need to succeed before the rush even starts.
Those quiet early hours matter. They set the tone for the entire day. And honestly, there’s a certain peace that comes from knowing you did everything you could to make things run smoothly before the chaos begins.
