This evening, Saturday, October 17, will be GCBC’s first Hinano performance of autumn. But since summer-like weather is back, and since we’re in the middle of the baseball postseason, we’ll be bringing a excellent new song — “The Boys of Summer,” which seems appropriate.
Performing at Hinano monthly for over 23 years (now over 276 performances) makes Good Cop Bad Cop not only a Hinano tradition, but also a Venice institution.
GCBC at Hinano is always a musical, fun, high-vibin’ evening for fans and homeys, old and new.

Twenty-three years ago this month, something happened at Hinano Café that no one had any idea would turn into a 23-year run.
On September 13, 2003, Good Cop Bad Cop played its very first gig—right there at Hinano.
And here we are.
Twenty-three years later, we're still coming back to the same place, still playing for Venice, still making noise, and still having a ridiculously good time doing it.
To celebrate Good Cop Bad Cop's 23rd Anniversary, we're bringing a new song to Hinano: “Happy Together” by The Turtles.
Seems appropriate.

Actually, there are 275+ reasons.
We played our first-ever GCBC gig there in 2003. Since then, we’ve played Hinano more than 275 times—and somehow, after all these years, people still come up to us and say:
“You guys are great.”
Longtime Venice locals. People who just wandered in. Young people. Old people. Women and men. People who have seen us a hundred times.
That means something to us.
Because Hinano isn’t just another bar we play.

1. Get on I-10 W from S Grand Ave.
2. Follow I-10 W to Centinela Ave in Santa Monica. Take exit 1C from CA-90 W.

4. Look for available street parking or nearby public parking lots/garages.
From LAX Airport:
1. Get on I-405 N from S Sepulveda Blvd.
