We’re sharing this incident to help keep our community and other local businesses informed and alert.
 
On September 19, the individual shown entered our Sherman Oaks location, asked for water, and stated that he was waiting for a companion. Shortly afterward, he grabbed a purse belonging to one of our team members and ran out of the restaurant.
 
He then left the area in a red Nissan SUV that appeared to be a Nissan Kicks.

To help prevent similar incidents, we have also strengthened our cash-handling procedures by implementing counterfeit money detectors at all PKG locations. If you are driving, take the Pacific Coast Highway southbound until you reach the intersection with Avocado Avenue. The restaurant will be on your right-hand side. There is a parking lot available for guests.
