Our first Staff Spotlight for June (as we were late to the game for May) is Jordan!

Jordan has worked at the Beachcomber for over 12 years and her first ever shift was on Valentine’s Day! She started as a host before working her way through the restaurant as a food runner, then server, and now for the last 4+ years, a Bartender at our Bootlegger Bar. She knows the ins and outs of how the restaurant works and likes mixing it up by both serving and bartending. Jordan is a lead trainer and helps our new servers and bartenders learn the ropes. Thanks to her college soccer career and a number of years as a youth soccer coach, Jordan is all about teamwork!

Jordan also believes one of the most rewarding aspects of her job is seeing her guests having a great time and leaving happy. She enjoys getting to know our guests and meeting people from all over the world, as she too loves traveling. Her last vacation was a trip to Austria where she explored Vienna, Salzburg and Innsbruck.

When not working Jordan enjoys spending time with her friends (she’s met some of her very best and life-long friends here at the Beachcomber). She also enjoys reading, going on walks, the LA Dodgers (Kiké Hernandez), and baking. Word on the street is that she makes a mean Baklava (feel free to bring us a sample!).

To get to the American restaurant at Crystal Cove in Newport Beach, you can take public transportation by getting on the 1 bus line and getting off at the stop closest to Pacific Coast Highway and Los Trancos. From there, it is a short walk down to the beach where you will find the restaurant.

If you prefer to drive, take the Pacific Coast Highway towards Crystal Cove State Park. Upon arrival, follow signs for parking and park in the designated lot. From there, it is a short walk down to the beach where you will find the restaurant.
