We’re thrilled to partner with Glitch Coffee Roasters of Japan to feature the exquisite Colombian Huila Monteblanco. This tropical washed coffee boasts vibrant notes of Pineapple, Peach, and Orange, offering a truly refreshing experience.
What sets it apart is its unique fermentation process, incorporating pineapple, passion fruit, orange, mango, and panela. With the coffee’s naturally high sugar content, it creates the perfect conditions for microorganisms to craft a bright, tropical, and complex profile.

After 11 wonderful years, Bar Nine has made the difficult decision to close its Culver City flagship location due to lease negotiations. Our last day of service will be Sunday, December 15th, marking the end of a cherished chapter in a neighborhood that has grown alongside us since the beginning.
Thank you, Culver City, for over a decade of incredible memories, lasting friendships, and countless coffee moments that will always hold a special place in our hearts. While this was not an easy decision, it allows us to focus on something truly exciting: the continued growth of Bar Nine Pure Espresso-our innovative ready-to-serve espresso product that’s already making waves in cafés, restaurants, and beyond.
But don’t worry, this isn’t a goodbye it’s a see you soon! We’ll continue serving you from our El Segundo outpost, and there’s so much more to come, including pop-ups, and new Pure Espresso collaborations.

To get to Helms Avenue in Culver City via public transportation, you can take the Metro Expo Line and get off at the Palms Station. From there, take bus 17 towards UCLA and get off at Venice Blvd/Helms Ave. Walk South on Helms Ave for about 5 minutes and you will arrive at your destination.
If you are driving down the I-10, exit La Cienega and head north towards Venice Blvd. Turn left onto Venice Blvd and continue for half a mile before turning right onto Helms Ave. Bar Nine will be on your right-hand side after a 2 minute drive.
Parking options inculde metered street parking along Helms Avenue or nearby streets or paid parking lot behind Platform building on Washington Boulevard which is just a short walk from Bar Nine.
