10 years of Iron & Kin
What started in a Pomona garage with a hand-built cart has grown into a cafe, roastery and community we’re deeply grateful for.
For the past decade, coffee has given us the opportunity to connect with people, create spaces that feel welcoming and become part of your daily rituals. None of this would exist without our team, guests, friends, family and the community that has supported us year after year.
We’re incredibly proud of how far we’ve come and deeply grateful to everyone who has been part of our growth.
Join us May 23 & 24 as we celebrate 10 years of Kin with coffee, new merch, music and food by Savory Scallion on Saturday.

We’re excited for our second Iron & Kin Run Club 🏃♂️
Thank you again to everyone who came out to our first run, we loved seeing so many people show up and be part of it.
Join us Saturday, May 16th at 8AM.
We’ll have two distance options again: 2 or 4 miles. Whether you’re a runner, new to running or just want to come walk, all are welcome.
We’ll meet outside the Packing House doors, just to the left of Kin if you’re facing the cafe. Quick welcome and stretch before we head out at 8:15AM.
Following this run, we’ll officially be moving into weekly Saturday runs.
We’ll finish back at the cafe with drip coffee for all Run Club members. See you soon!

We’re excited to launch Iron & Kin Run Club!
Kin has always been a place for ritual and connection, and we’re excited to continue building that through movement.
Join us for our first run Saturday, April 18th at 8AM.
We’ll have one route with two distance options, 2 or 4 miles. Whether you’re a runner, new to running, or simply want to walk, all are welcome.
We’ll finish back at the cafe - drip coffee offered to all Run Club members. Follow along on Strava for updates and future run dates. Can’t wait to see you there!

We’re excited to announce that Iron & Kin will be opening our next cafe in late 2026.
Our next location will be located in downtown Upland in a historic building that’s held history since 1896.
We’ll be starting from the ground up, carefully reimagining the space while honoring its character and history.
Our hope is to create a beautiful space for ritual and connection where we can grow alongside this community.
We’re looking forward to brining Kin to Upland and can’t wait to share more with you as the space begins to take shape.

Kin will be closed this Friday, 1/30.
As a team, we’ve made the collective decision to close in solidarity with the National General Strike. Over the past weeks, we’ve witnessed ICE carry out raids, detentions, and enforcement actions that have caused fear, separation, and real harm for many people and families in our communities. We feel it’s important to name this and to pause together.
We believe our spaces should be places where people feel safe and supported. It matters to us that our community feels seen, valued, and held, especially in times like this.
We will resume our normal business hours on Saturday, 1/31, from 7am–5pm.
This has been a heavy time and we’re grateful for the care, understanding and solidarity our community continues to show one another.
