Every week someone in OC is trying to raise money for something.
A cause. Funding for a team. A youth group heading to camp.
Usually it lands on a parent or a volunteer who already has a lot on their plate.
I've always believed a local shop should show up for those people.
So we built Fundraising Sessions.
You pick a day at one of our shops. Your people come eat. Part of what they spend goes back to your cause.
It's an easy ask for your supporters, because everybody needs lunch anyway.
I love the picture of a whole team or class filling up the patio, cheering each other on over sandwiches.
That's what a neighborhood deli is for.

Weeknights have a way of disappearing.
Pickup, practice, homework,
and somewhere in there, everyone needs to eat.
Tuesdays at Sessions are our way of making room for that.
Every adult entrée comes with a free kids meal.
Dine-in only, so grab a table and stay a while.
Full tables, loud laughs, sticky fingers.

A small business owner's response when we get these types of messages...
"Can you handle food for the offsite?"
"We need lunch for 30 on Thursday."
"Holiday party. Help."
"The whole family's in town this weekend. Can you feed us?"
And here's what I see every time one lands:
A hardworking team that values its people.
A crew that's been grinding all year and earned a real lunch.
Someone in charge who refuses to settle when it comes to feeding them.
I love that. Because food is one of the simplest ways to tell people they matter.
So we take it personally.

Here's why we do it.
Weeknights are tough on parents. Work runs late, practice runs later, and by dinnertime the energy to cook is gone.
We wanted one night a week where getting the whole crew out felt easy.
Where the math works.
Where the kids have a Groms menu made just for them and you get a real sandwich for yourself.
No dishes. No grocery run. No negotiating over leftovers.

Our most popular special of the year is back.
The October Surprise.
Starting tomorrow, here through the end of October.
Roasted butternut squash.
Caramelized onions.
Sage pesto.
Melty Havarti.
All on a hearty vegetarian grilled cheese.
This is the one people wait all year for.
Pair it with our October soup, Thai Chicken Basil.
Coconut curry broth with chicken, white rice, peppers, onions and a hint of lemongrass, finished with lime crema, toasted coconut and basil.
Fall at Sessions only lasts so long.

If you are traveling by public transport, you can take the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) bus to Barranca Parkway in Irvine. From there, it's a short walk to the sandwich shop and American restaurant and deli.
For those driving to the location, take the I-5 Freeway and exit on Barranca Parkway. Turn left onto Barranca Parkway and continue for approximately 1 mile until you reach your destination.
Parking is available in a lot adjacent to the sandwich shop and American restaurant and deli.
