Sip and sup with strangers. 🍷 🏛️
That’s Convivio - a long table, four courses, and wines grown in the Sicilian shadow of Mount Etna. Volcanic soil.
Mineral, alive, unapologetic.
We love this dinner because the room always surprises us. People come not knowing a soul and leave making plans. Which is kind of the whole point.
14 seats. Tuesday, June 2nd at 7pm. $90/ person.

Bring a friend. Or make a new one.

35 miles south of Rome, on volcanic hillsides his family has farmed for four generations, Damiano Ciolli is doing something quiet and important with Cesanese — a grape the Romans loved and the 20th century nearly forgot. This is Silene. Named after a wildflower that grows between the vines. On our list now.

Note: According to Roman legend, when Romulus and Remus were abandoned as infants on the banks of the Tiber, a she-wolf found them. She nursed them, kept them alive, and raised the founders of the greatest city in the Western world. She had no obligation. She just showed up. The Romans never forgot her — the Lupa Capitolina has been a symbol of Rome for over a thousand years. Which feels about right for a mother.

Robbie usually makes the trip to Vinitaly. Last week, Vinitaly made the trip to him. 🍷
His Italian wine family dropped in to Brentwood unannounced and absolutely lit up the room. We’d say we planned it — but honestly, the best things here never are.
Great wine. Room full of amici. That’s ALL ROADS doing what ALL ROADS does.
