We don't think we could call ourselves Greek anymore if we didn't celebrate National Olive Day.

When we opened our first Nick the Greek in 2014, we had a simple dream: bring the bold, honest flavors of Greek street food to people who deserved something real. One restaurant. One menu. One obsession with doing it right.
This past Wednesday, we stood in San Diego — and we couldn't be more proud to say: we officially opened store #100.
To every team member who showed up early and stayed late. To every guest who made us part of their lunch break, their family nights, their late-night cravings — you are the reason we're here.
We celebrated the way Greeks do: with open arms and full bellies. Free food, giveaways, live Greek music filling the air, and yes — legendary competitive eater Joey Chestnut showing San Diego how a gyro eating contest is done. 🫶🥙
This isn't just a number. It's 100 communities that welcomed us in. 100 reminders of why we started.
Here's to the next 100. Opa! 🎉

Joey Chestnut wins again 😭🌯
4 groups.
3 people per team.
First team to 10 gyros wins.
Didn’t matter.
Joey absolutely destroyed everybody and made it look easy 💀🔥
Store #100 in San Diego was chaos in the best way possible 🇬🇷
100 stores deep and we’re still turning up.
The best things in life are Greek.
