Back then, Simpang was still a small grocery store with a tiny takeout counter. Fast-forward to 2026, and we’re still here — and we’ve grown quite a bit along the way! From that little grocery store with a small takeout counter to full-service restaurants in both Palms and Venice, it’s been an incredible journey. And we have you, our amazing customers, to thank for being part of it.

Many years later, we’re still cooking, still serving, and still so grateful.

To get to the Indonesian restaurant located on National Boulevard in Los Angeles, you could take the Metro Expo Line and get off at the Palms station. From there, transfer to Bus 14 and get off at the intersection of National Boulevard and Palms Boulevard.

If driving, take the I-10 W freeway and exit at National Boulevard. Turn right onto National Boulevard and follow it until you reach your destination. Street parking is available, but be sure to check for any parking restrictions. Alternatively, there is a parking lot nearby that you can use for a fee.
