We’re heartbroken to learn about the passing of our friend Michael Serot, the founder of The Hollywood Ghostbusters.
 
Four years ago we had the insane idea to do a Ghostbusters themed menu centered around the release of Ghostbusters: Afterlife.  Through a series of fortunate events, we met Mike who enthusiastically jumped in to help make our celebration an even bigger success.  Mike lent us props like ghost traps and proton guns, and brought in his incredible team of Hollywood Ghostbusters to interact with our customers.  What started as a simple idea became an incredible customer experience.  The team of Hollywood Ghostbusters showed up in uniform to answer questions, pose for photos, and to make sure that every single person felt seen & welcome.  They arrived early and stayed late and the generous work they did (and continue to do) helps raise donations for LA Children’s Hospital.  This team is incredible—but I know that they are incredible through the leadership of Mike. Heroes don’t wear capes, they wear proton packs.  The team’s kindness and generosity is a true extension of Mike Serot, and the world is a sadder place without him here. 
 
We will forever hold a place in our hearts and on our walls to celebrate Mike’s greatness. 
Mike will be missed and forever remembered.
