Running Game Haus was an experience we will never forget. As we did final cleanup on the space, we noticed how empty the cafe now looked, but it wasn’t that the games and furniture were gone.

What made it special was you. All the friends and families laughing, playfully arguing, challenging each other and bonding over some great games. If this place was great, it was because of all the people who’ve shared their time with us.

We wanted to provide an update for the future of the cafe, as we know many of you have been following its progress since the closure.

First, we wanted to express how grateful we are for the outpouring of support and interest in the future of GameHaus. Many of you have expressed the hope that the cafe will keep going, and it was our hope as well.

Unfortunately, despite the best efforts of all parties involved, we were unable to finalize a plan for Snakes & Lattes to transition into the space we had once occupied. We wish Snakes and Lattes well and we know that they will continue to bring fun and great times to so many people.

Lastly, it greatly saddens us to say that we will not be reopening our doors. We want to thank all of you, and we are truly grateful for all your support in bringing the board game cafe concept to the L.A. area. We have almost nine years of wonderful memories and great times and none of it would have been possible without you.
