The restaurant also took pride in their handmade guacamole, salsas and dressings. Founded in 1980 as the first American El Pollo Loco in Los Angeles, the restaurant chain expanded to over 480 locations across six states while maintaining their dedication to quality and innovation in LA Mex cuisine.
