Whole chickens were carefully marinated with herbs, spices, fruit juices and garlic before being fire-grilled on their signature open-flame grill and cut into traditional Mexican entrees. The restaurant also took pride in their handmade guacamole, salsas and dressings. Founded in 1980 as the first American El Pollo Loco in Los Angeles, the restaurant chain expanded to over 480 locations across six states while maintaining their dedication to quality and innovation in LA Mex cuisine. Please note that this restaurant has been permanently closed.

To get to the restaurants located on E Foothill Boulevard in Upland, you can take public transportation using the nearest bus stop located on Foothill Blvd & Euclid Ave. From there, it's a short walk westward down Foothill Blvd to reach the restaurants.
