We had an incredible time welcoming the K-FROG Morning Show to Silver Dollar Pancake House as they broadcasted live to help raise money for the Corona Police Department. A huge thank you to Kelly for jumping in and serving tables like a true Silver Dollar team member—it was so much fun having you with us!

We also had the honor of making a donation to support this great cause. Seeing our community come together, enjoy breakfast, pick up their Silver Dollar t-shirts, and support our local heroes made today one we’ll never forget.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, donated, and helped make this fundraiser such a success. We truly have the best community!

Today we celebrate an incredible milestone — 50 YEARS of dedication, perseverance, and heart. ❤️🥞

Fifty years ago today, Robert Hernandez walked into Silver Dollar Pancake House and started his journey as a dishwasher. Through hard work and determination, he became a cook, and at just 28 years old, he purchased the restaurant from the man who first gave him a chance.

Over the years, Robert has faced challenges that would have stopped many people. He has battled serious health issues, survived COVID, and even overcame paralysis through sheer strength and determination. Through every obstacle, his commitment to this restaurant, his employees, his customers, and his community never wavered.

For five decades, Silver Dollar Pancake House has been more than a business to Robert — it has been his life’s work and his passion. He has spent countless early mornings, long days, and late nights making sure every guest feels welcome and every plate is served with care. He has also always been willing to give back to the community that has supported him throughout the years.

Today we honor not just a restaurant owner, but a true example of resilience, loyalty, and dedication. Thank you, Robert, for 50 amazing years and for building a place that feels like home to so many.
