Big news, pizza fam 🍕

A few years ago, Detroit Pizza Depot started as a simple idea: bring real Detroit-style pizza to Los Angeles.

When we first launched, we never imagined opening physical spaces. Our goal was just to eat our favorite pizza and not lose money. Our first kitchen was delivery-only.

But something changed. We realized this style of pizza deserved more than a box drop-off. So we opened a brick & mortar in Hollywood.

Once guests started walking through our doors, we knew the brand had to carry more weight than just what’s inside the box.

Over the past few months, we’ve been working with talented designers to rethink the entire customer experience - from logo, to packaging, to what our shop space feels like.

The result? A new brand identity deeply rooted in Detroit’s history (including typography inspired by the Detroit Type Foundry) - but built with an eye toward the future.

Today we’re excited to share this updated vibe. This isn’t just a logo change. It’s us growing into who we’re becoming. Being from Michigan ourselves - we feel like this new identity is a proper reflection of Detroit craft.

The pizza isn’t changing. The crispy edges definitely aren’t changing. The pride in what we have to share with you is growing.

We just launched our new website today and we’ll be rolling out updated packaging, merch, and in-shop updates in the months ahead.

To reach the pizza place, take the Metro Rail Blue Line to the Grand/LATTC Station. From there, walk west on Washington Boulevard for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection of Washington Boulevard and S. Grand Avenue. The restaurant will be on your left-hand side.

For those driving, take the 110 North and exit on Washington Boulevard. Turn right onto S. Grand Avenue and the restaurant will be on your left-hand side. There is street parking available nearby or a paid parking lot across the street from the restaurant.
