How this dish got on our menu will always be legendary. One day I decide to use some trimmings from our hand cut proteins and give it a shawarma like flavor profile but also added some onions and tomato’s. Put it on top of a pile of our house made pita chips and walked out to enjoy my meal. Three customers stopped and asked me what I had and wanted to buy it from me. Told them it was just my lunch and the rest was history. The shawarma nachos became a defining part of Hummus Labs as we navigated the first six months of opening in the beginning of COVID. Turning into a viral success and eventually ended up selling out daily for quite some time until I was able to keep prepping more and more. This is our chicken shawarma nachos and the customer decided to add some flare by choosing our super popular cilantro jalapeño hummus. This is a can’t lose dish right here.

Tomahawk Tuesday is out, toumahawk Tuesday is in. We wrap this big hunk of meat in our garlic paste for 48 hours before we sear it, then decided that’s not enough garlic paste so we spread some more on before we grill it to medium rare. Topped with our signature toum and accompanied with grilled vegetables and rice. This is the ultimate meat sweats kind of meal, garlic included.

When we first launched our cauliflower we never intended it to be a platter side. What was an actual mistake turned out to be the best marketing for our newest menu item. With plans to only keep it for a month as a platter side, the demand made me reconsider that decision. This cauliflower has taken a hold of our menu with people skipping out hummus all together in favor of double cauliflower!!! Now we love our hummus, but the cauliflower is just so hard to resist. Filet mignon kabob in the foreground looking great too 😂🤣. Special thanks to .wine for being my taste tester and helping me perfect this.

Having a little fun in the kitchen with two special hummus flavors for this weekend only. Super fresh and bright to help get through the summer heat; in march??!!?? Made from scratch we fire roasted our carrots and boiled our sweet potato for one and fresh whole avocado and basil for the other.
