New season, new salad. Inspired by the old school hibachi house salads, leafy greens and sugar snaps and carrot ginger dressing. Plus puffed rice, tofu “feta,” pickled red onions, salmon skin furikake, lotsa good stuff. On the menu now.

These little latkes have become a staple of the cold menu. Cubes of raw salmon, house cured roe, our take on Akira’s smoky “iburigakko” daikon pickle, and yuzu crème fraîche, all mixed together and spooned on top of a crisp potato pancake

Chef Klem made a spiny lobster risotto for V Day, still on the menu tonight for Suntory celebrators. Also today is ’s last day with us, he’s off to drink wine and eat cheese in France but he’s on risotto station tonight one final time, wish him luck!

Our little tsubaki turns nine tomorrow. And while this quirky Aquarius baby has given us our share of heartache and headache, I’ve always been sort of secretly delighted by our Groundhog Day birthdate and have come admire how this restaurant can have a real mind of its own when it wants to 🦄🦄🦄
To mark the occasion, chef de cuisine Klementine - who herself is coming up on eight years with us! - is turning back the clock a bit and for Monday night service will be bringing back some legacy dishes that have meant a lot to us over the years. Ochazuke, abalone, tataki, we’re playing all the hits
Hope you can come see us tomorrow to raise a glass with us and celebrate nine years of sake and skewers and moments large and small. Book through Resy or walk on in. And, of course, all the flowers and all the gratitude to our teams past and present 💘💘💘
